13| Something I'm proud of
The obvious topic for this would be my children, who would definitely take a good top 10 positions of my 'proudest moments' list. But instead I'm going to post this:
Page 90-91.
Hopefully my story being discussed in such a way will help someone else, in big or small ways.
For that, for living through it, for living through the last 16 years with the implications and ripples of it, for being brave and taking those first anonymous steps in the first place, after so long. For having the guts to write it down and share it? For owning it, for knowing its shaped me and my choices but not letting it define me anymore? For all of that? - That makes me incredibly proud of myself.
